Born and raised in Des Moines Iowa, Ashley has always loved and lived by music, and sports. Growing up on classic rock tunes her father enjoyed helped to instill importance of music within her. She can’t help but to move or sing to a good song. An athlete at the age of 4, sports have always been a huge part of her life, participating in everything from softball and track to volleyball and dance team. Ashley held onto her athleticism while playing softball in college up north.
Ashley’s favorite color in the entire world is pink. There will never be a time you will see her when she is not wearing it. Her passions in life are music, family, friends, sports, animals and food. Yes food! Never shy about what she likes, her favorites consist of ice cream, chocolate, pasta’s, steak, chicken and seafood!
Ashley is currently a middle school teacher in the Des Moines area where she enjoys the challenge of middle school students and where she participates in a plethora of activities. Can you say “hot for teacher?” She also likes to volunteer and spends time tutoring others and aiding in school programs.
Ashley loves animals and if she could have any animal in the world she would have a monkey or a tiger. She also loves to sing and dance (not that either are any good).

"Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces "
After seeing Seether and Stone Sour first hand, I'm not going to lie, they are awesome! I love the smooth singing and great beats of Seether. I also enjoy almost all songs by Stone Sour. Since I grew up on classic rock tunes, I tend to sway more towards the mellow side of things. At the same time I frequently shock myself, enjoying some harder hits by Linkin Park, Metallica etc. Like I have stated before, my favorites will constantly change. As they do, I will make sure and give you updates of what I am listening to now!!
