Rockers Arcade Fire are on the hunt for a bobblehead mask stage prop which was stolen following a recent show in Connecticut.
A giant papier-maché model of bandmate Richard Parry’s head went missing last week and the stars claim they have evidence indicating who stole the prop, but have yet to file a police report, according to RollingStone.com.
A statement reads, “Richy’s bobblehead mask was taken from our show in Bridgeport. This mask is a one of a kind piece that is an essential component to our live show.
“We have photos of the theft but rather than press charges we would prefer if the person who took it would get in touch with us to return it. Perhaps this is all an innocent mistake and you meant to leave the venue with your own oversized papier-maché rendition of Richard Parry’s head…”
The prop was first used during Arcade Fire’s “Here Comes the Night Time” TV special last year and also at a Brooklyn warehouse show in New York in October.
