Lady Gaga is set to kickoff her upcoming ARTPOP tour in the U.S. to make up for cancelling most of her Born This Way tour dates in North America after suffering a hip injury.
The “Applause” hitmaker is going back on the road next year to support her latest album in a venture titled artRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball Tour.
On Tuesday, Gaga announced that the global tour will start right where she left off in February, after a right hip injury forced her to cancel the 21 remaining concerts on the North American leg of her world tour.
She took to Twitter.com and wrote, “I am so excited to announce that after abruptly ending my tour for surgery earlier this year, I am back and starting my tour in…USA!
“artRave: The ARTPOP Ball will be a full on party combining music, fashion, & technology in one explosive performance.”
Gaga will kick off the artRAVE on May 4 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and continue the 25-city tour until the end of July.
