Eric Clapton streaming entire ‘Old Sock’ album
In case you couldn’t wait, Eric Clapton’s upcoming album “Old Sock,” featuring 10 covers and two originals, is being streamed a week before it hits stores.
The Wall Street Journal’s Speakeasy Blog is streaming the album.
The album includes covers of Leadbelly’s “Goodnight Irene” and Taj Mahal’s “Further on Down the Road.” Guests include Paul McCartney playing bass on “All of Me,” Steve Winwood on organ for “Still Got the Blues” and JJ Cale lending his vocals to “Angel.”
The album is available March 12.
