The City of Windsor Heights is excited that our 2023 Movies in the Park series will start on May 5^th  at 820p in Colby Park (6900 School Street).  The movie being shown is Ghostbusters.  We will start to hand out free pizza, popcorn, cookies and drink to the first 200 people in attendance at 750pm.  The Des Moines Library- Franklin Ave Branch will also be at this movie showcasing all that they have to offer residents in Des Moines and Windsor Heights.  If this is your first time attending the event we recommend bringing your own chair or blanket to sit on.  This event will be outside unless the weather is inclement.  In case of inclement weather, we will then move the movie inside to the Community Event Center and this change will be announced on the City of Windsor Height’s Social Media pages.  This is a FREE event and you don’t have to be a resident of Windsor Heights to attend.
