Death, taxes and people hating on the yearly nominees for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Frankly, I’m sick of arguing with people who complain about nominees but if that’s your thing, go ahead. Feel free to complain about Jay-Z getting in last year or this year’s potential class which includes a pair of 1st time nominees from the hip-hop world (Eminem & A Tribe Called Quest) and a country music legend (Dolly Parton) who also crossed over to the pop music world.
Can’t we just celebrate great MUSIC together? I know I can.

You can even make your voice heard by voting for your favorites!
There is no set number of inductees. Artists are SUPPOSED to need 50% of the vote to get in BUT, that’s not always the case. If only 2 of the artists get 50%, how will the induction show on HBO happen? You’ll likely see at least 4 or 5 get in. My best guesses (I suck at this, btw) – Duran Duran, Dolly Parton, Judas Priest, MC5 & Dionne Warwick.
