Call me weird but I always enjoy watching the “In Memoriam” during awards shows. And like most people, you can hear me say “oh… he/she died? I had no idea”.

Last night during “The Grammys” while the segment dedicated to those we’ve lost in the last year did omit some names (it happens every year) like former Slipknot drummer, Joey Jordison, Graeme Edge (The Moody Blues), Johnny Solinger (Skid Row) and others…there WAS a special tribute to the late Taylor Hawkins. TV Producers only have about 2-3 minutes worth of time to honor those who have died so I imagine picking & choosing who’s “in” and who’s “out” is tough for as music genres keep expanding which means we’re gonna lose more and more musicians every year.
