Back in 2004, Metallica’s Lars Ulrich was unable to perform (health reasons) and the band needed a drummer for their set at The “Download Music Festival”. So who did James Hetfield ask? After one song with Slayer’s Dave Lombardo, Hetfield asked Slipknot founder, Joey Jordison to fill in. And he KILLED it.
