Love going to concerts but don’t love the price tag? Live Nation is attempting to alleviate some of that stress by bringing back it’s Concert Week, which offers $25 tickets – including the fees- to 3800 shows.
Now, while that $25 does include the fees, it doesn’t include the taxes, but let’s be real, the taxes are a drop in the bucket compared to the fees you normally pay.
Concert Week is boasting some big names in the rock world, like Avenged Sevenfold, the Def Leppard/Motley Crue tour, Disturbed, the Godsmack/Staind tour, Incubus, Mudvayne, and even the Freaks on Parade Tour with Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper.
This all sounds glorious of course and while 3800 is an incredible number of shows, what are the odds of it being shows in our area? Or at least in a drivable distance? There is a disclaimer on the Live Nation website that states “While tickets last for select events” and that’s to be expected. I just hope that it’s not like they do with some presales to shows and limit the amount of those $25 “all in” tickets. Plus, Live Nation is as least giving us a break, which is more than Ticketmaster cares to do.
Concert Week starts on Wednesday, May 10th and runs thru Tuesday May 16th, so set yourself a reminder to log on and start scouring for those shows. Not gonna lie, I’ll be checking it out myself.
