The Disturbed Cover You Never Knew You Needed

YouTube is a strange and wonderous place. One creator, There I Ruined It, is somewhat of a mad genius in my opinion. Whomever it is behind the curtain has made mashups of songs that in reality have absolutely zero reason to even come together in the same thought. But somehow, they not only come together but they WORK! There is only one sentence in the “about’ section of the channel: “I lovingly destroy your favorite songs.”

The latest effort offered up is “Down with the Sickness” by Disturbed, but unlike you have ever heard. Or thought you’d ever hear. It’s a Doo-Wop version. So take that fun, happy, harmonic sock hop sound of the 50’s, and piece it together with one of Nu Metal‘s first anthems.

This should not work. But it does. And it’s the version you never even knew you needed.

Enjoy
