According to Iceland Monitor, GUNS N’ ROSES’ show in Reykjavik this summer will be the largest concert ever to be held in Iceland.

It will take about one week to prepare the Laugardalsvöllur football stadium for the event in July. A number of renovations will be made to Laugardalsvöllur prior the concert including a special floor to protect the grass. The stage to be constructed will be 65 meters wide and will have giant flatscreens.

Thirty-five containers are required to ship equipment to Iceland and 150 staff will accompany the band.

Ticket prices will start at 18,900 ISK.
