On Wednesday, April 1st Heather talked about your favorite concert memory that you’d relive again. For me, it’d be Carolina Rebellion 2012. That was the year Brian ‘Head’ Welch reunited with KoRn for the first time on stage 7 years.

Earlier in the day I had met Head while on the band Red’s bus. It was there that Red had mentioned the potential of the reunion happening, which Head downplayed. Throughout the day backstage the rumors continued with no concrete information if it would happen.

Then as KoRn was about to take the stage my friend Darrin, who worked for Road Runner Records, grabs my arm while hanging out in catering and says ‘Move! We have to get on spot on stage! It’s happening!’ So we ran to the stage to get a spot for the reunion. We were told it would happen during ‘Blind’ towards the end of the set.

So there I stood with many of the bands who’ve already played that day. All waiting to witness rock history. I remember standing next to Amy Lee.

The entire was something to relive with many memories with friends and some great interviews, but it was capped off with this great experience.
