This third installment of the new Jumanji film series has a name…  Jumanji: Open World. And a first trailer shown at CinemaCon this week. For “Open World” the board game which evolved into a video game will now invade the real world. Plus, the video game’s characters portrayed by Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Karen Gillian, and Kevin Hart have also been transported into the real world.

According to Johnson, the film will feature Easter eggs paying homage to Robin Williams in “every single scene.”

Jumanji: Open World is in theaters on December 25, 2026.
